Vanessa Marcil is pregnant!
The General Hospital star is excepting her second child; her first child with husband Carmine Giovinazzo.
Marcil,42, already has a 9-year-old son Kassius with ex Brian Austin Green who is now married to Megan Fox.
Marcil and husband Giovinazzo, who stars on CSI:NY, were married in July 2010 and were anxious to start a family considering the actress in her 40s.
Marcil made the happy announcement on her Twitter account – of course! It’s the way to announce big news these days!
Susan Lucci Talks 'All My Children' Amid Cancellation Rumors.
With the possibility of All My Children being cancelled after this season, it seems only fitting that Susan Lucci is releasing a new memoir titled All My LIfe due out March 29.
In the memoir, Lucci talks about backstage drama, her many Emmy losses, and a miscarriage she had to deal with while shooting the series.
As for All My Children, Lucci’s alter ego Erica Kane has already gone through 11 marriages on the show and going for a 12th. Could there be a swan song wedding finale? And who will be the groom – Caleb (Michael Nouri) or Jack (Walt Willey)?

Is Kelly Monaco leaving General Hospital? There is a lot of buzz going around tonight about GH Spoilers, but I dug around and so far cannot find any reports that Kelly Monaco is planning on leaving the show.
It was very odd when James Franco, an acclaimed big movie actor, would – as some might call it – go slumming on a soap opera. But that’s just what he did when he signed on to do the role of serial killer Franco on General Hospital. Luke and Laura Wedding: most watched soap opera episode
Do you watch any soap operas? Oprah had legendary soap stars on her show today. Of course, All My Children’s Erica Kane had to be in there.
Luke and Laura from General Hospital were on the show, too. I can’t believe that they are still around! I caught snippets of the show back when I was a kindergartener because my mother loved watching the relationship between Luke and Laura unfold. Their November 16, 1981 wedding is still the most watched hour ever in soap opera history. Continue reading »
Vanessa Marcil Giovinazzo is returning to her old role of Brenda Barrett on General Hospital on August 11th. Vanessa won a Daytime Emmy for the role in 2003, and since then she’s been seen on primetime shows including Beverly Hills 90210, and Las Vegas.
In addition to her career, Vanessa is also a mom to son, Kassius, now 8, whose father is actor Brian-Austin Green.
The actress is looking forward to going back to daytime television and taking on the personna of Brenda Barrett once again.
Of her return to the hit soap, Vanessa said that “it’s always kind of been in the works” for her to come back. General Hospital was her first acting gig, and she’s remained friends with the cast members over the years, even attending the high school prom with one of the guys.
Congratulations to General Hospital star Tyler Christopher and his wife Brienne Pedigo! The couple have welcomed their first child, a son, on Saturday, October 3.
