Fantasia Barrino‘s overdose last night was caused by a combination of aspirin and a sleep aid, according according to the American Idol winner’s manager.
Fantasia reportedly ingested the medication after feeling “overwhelmed by the lawsuit and the media attention” surrounding her relationship with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Antwaun Cook, who is married. She believed Cook when he told her her “he was not happy in his marriage [to Paula Cook] and his heart was not in it.”

After her marriage to David Justice ended, the Oscar winner admitted she attempted suicide by carbon monoxide poisoning but stopped when she thought of her mother finding her dead body. In the end, she overcame her depression, vowed to never get married again and has been happily single since.
Welsh Fantastic Four star Ioan Gruffudd has something has a new premiere. Not a new film or TV special but his newest production his daughter Ella Betsi Evans-Gruffudd. His wife actress Alice Evans (who most recently did a guest stop on Lost) welcomed their daughter five months ago.

This should look familiar to any parent – the defiant look, the awkward hold – obviously Jessica Alba is hauling daughter Honor out of wherever she was because the kid’s having a hissy-fit. Yes, it’s true – celebrities’ kids have tantrums, too. And a mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do, especially if none of your five nannies is around.
Jessica Alba and husband Cash Warren took daughter Honor out for a nice quiet breakfast today. I think they’re just gearing up for the big day – tomorrow is Honor Marie’s first birthday!
