Fantastia is a new mom!
So much for coming up with the idea of a Dallas Kardashian-Odom coming into the world. Former American Idol contestant Fantasia Barrino has given birth to a baby boy, naming him Dallas Xavier Barrino.

Fantasia Barrino is currently in labor with her second child.
According to Radar Online, Fantasia Barrino checked into the Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, around 1:30 p.m. PST on Monday (Dec. 12) and is currently in labor.
The baby, whose father is Fantasia’s boyfriend Antwaun Cook, was originally due on December 29 – making him or her a bit premature.
“They’re excited to be having the baby around the holidays,” an source close to the couple told RadarOnline.com.
Reports are also suggesting that Cook is in the hospital with Fantasia, waiting for welcome their first child together.
Fanstasia Barrino has been ordered to bed rest.
After announcing her pregnancy just a few short weeks ago, American Idol alum Fantasia Barrino has been ordered to bed rest and forced to cancel a scheduled performance at the Bronner Brothers International Hair Show.
“Due to medical conditions, Fantasia has been placed on bed rest and will not be performing at the show. However, the lovely and talented Kelly Price is now scheduled to be the headliner for Saturday evening,” reads a statement from the company.
No statement has been released by her reps yet regarding the health of Barrino or her baby.
This will be the second child for Barrino who has daughter, Zion, 10. And it’s speculated that her baby’s father is boyfriend Antwaun Cook, but that has yet to be confirmed as well.
Fantasia Barrino, the winner from American Idol Season 3, rocked the house tonight as she returned to her home turf to perform the third single off her Back to Me album titled ‘Collard Greens & Cornbread’.

The onetime American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino made a surprise apprearance in Las Vegas over the weekend.
In a dramatic turnaround for Barrino, who attempted suicide earlier this month, PEOPLE reports that the onetime American Idol champ grabbed a mic on Friday night, singing four songs at a nightclub in the Palms Casino and Resort.
Fantasia Barrino was on Good Morning America today for her first live interview since she tried to commit suicide two weeks ago.
Fantasia tried to overdose on aspirin and sleep medication after her affair with a married man, Antwaun Cook, became public when his wife threatened to sue her. Her reasons to take her life weren’t just over a relationship gone awry, but also based on frustrations with her career.

Feeling overwhelmed and hopeless after word of her affair with a married man came out, “American Idol” season three winner Fantasia Barrino knew exactly what she was doing when she downed a bottle of aspirin and sleeping pills last week. Despite early reports to the contrary, the single mother’s overdose was indeed a suicide attempt.
“At that moment, I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with,” she says on a special “Behind the Music” airing tomorrow night on VH1. Her new album, “Back to Me,” is also coming out tomorrow, and Fantasia has a separate reality show on VH1.
Fantasia says that her suicide attempt was prompted by some terrible dealings with the men in her life. “I was tired of people doing me wrong, constantly, over and over again, dealing with my family – my father, dealing with men and their [expletive] – I was tired,” she says.
When she woke up in the hospital, she was at first despondent that she had been revived. But soon she got a wake-up call.
