Pete Wentz "Couldn't Trust" Ashlee Simpson.
Since the announcement came of the demise of Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson’s marriage, many have wondered why this couple couldn’t stick it out. Now reports are coming out suggesting that Wentz couldn’t trust Simpson.
Apparently, Simpson has been spending months at clubs late at night and coming home in the wee hours of the morning.
Fall Out Boy rocker Wentz, 31, “started getting burnt out” by those antics, another source says. On the road with his band, he “would constantly check in on Ashlee, and he’d have his friends call the house and her cell to make sure she said she was where she said she was going to be,” an insider explains. “He felt like he couldn’t trust her.”
After the recent announcement that Ashlee Simpson filed from divorce from Pete Wentz, I wanted to know more about him.
All I really knew about him as that he is a singer for a band, and that he’s a good dog owner.

After becoming a father in 2008, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has found himself making some major adjustments to accommodate him and Ashlee Simpson’s baby boy Bronx, 2. The most recent adjustment? Clearing his vocabulary of “naughty words” that his smart son could repeat.
At the Rolling Stone party Friday, Wentz told UsMagazine.com about his talkative toddler, and how he has found himself having to watch what he says. “As a parent, I’m finally being able to get my mouth to behave itself as far as saying naughty words,” Wentz said. “He says everything!”
But how does this Fall Out Boy feel about dropping his naughty vocabulary? Not that bad, according to Wentz. “It’s one of those things where he’s so awesome, he just makes me smile,” Wentz said of his son Bronx. “Even when he says [bad words] back it’s like, ‘No way!’”
Is it just me, or do two-year-old toddlers somehow have an ear for exactly what words they’re not supposed to say? You can stand there saying “grandma” all day with no response, but as soon as your husband stubs his toe or drops something off that counter an echo seems to conveniently develop in the room. Do you find yourself having to censor the airwaves for your child?
