It’s official! Blake Shelton has joined the ‘coaching panel’ of the new NBC reality singing show The Voice. NBC teamed up with hit-making reality show pioneers John de Mol, Mark Burnett and Warner Horizon Television to bring the show to America. The Voice of Holland is the name of Holland’s top-rated vocal talent discovery show. The grand prize winner of The Voice will receive $100,000 and a record deal. Continue reading »

Aww, Josh Turner and his wife are expecting a boy – their third – he announced this morning on the Today Show (video).
Josh Turner was on hand to co-host with Hoda Kotb, who introduced him as an “up and coming country sensation” and has to ask him how his voice became so deep.
Turner’s wife, Jennifer, is five months pregnant and they break the news of the baby’s sex on air, saying, “you’re the first to know… this is the third boy!” Continue reading »
He has millions of women swooning and singing along every time that one of his songs comes on the radio, and now Kenny Chesney is making himself even more desirable by admitting that he hopes to have kids in the future.
And I’m sure that there are plenty of girls who are ready to get in line to snag this country crooner as the father of their children. I mean, I think that his tractor is pretty sexy, don’t you?
At the present time, Kenny doesn’t have a lucky lady in his life, but he did have a whirlwind romance with Renee Zelwegger a few years back, though their marriage wound up only lasting a few months.
Of the split, Kenny says, ”There ain’t nothing you can do about it. Just hang on for the ride. Now I look back on it as just another way of getting knocked down on the football field.”

McGraw’s increasing facial hair is for his new role co-starring Gwyneth Paltrow where she plays a country music singer – and will sing in the movie — and he plays her husband and manager in Love Don’t Let Me Down. Grammy Award-winning country music group the Dixie Chicks will put out an album this year, minus lead singing chick Natalie Maines. Martie Macguire and Emily Robison, who are sisters, will release the album under the name Court Yard Hounds. The women — all mothers of young children — took some family time following their political outspokenness against President Bush that resulted in a backlash from conservative country music fans and decreased record sales.
Robison will serve as lead vocalist on the album. Maines’ father apparently told reporters that the Dixie Chicks are “still an entity.”
