Chris Daughtry and Wife Deanna Welcome Twins!
With twins comes double the amount of work, but double the amount of fun. Chris Daughtry and wife, Deanna, welcomed two beautiful fraternal twins this morning (Nov. 17).
Chris announced the news via his website. “Our family is overwhelmed with joy by these two precious gifts from God. The babies are both healthy and resting. Thanks to everyone for their love and prayers.”
Chris Daughtry rocked out during this morning’s edition of the Today, and the expectant dad couldn’t help but talk about the upcoming arrival of his twins with his wife Deanna Daughtry.
The band performed their hits – September, No Surprise, and Leave This Town - as part of the summer concert series. Between the musical numbers, Chris took time to gush about the arrival of his twins – a boy and a girl – later this fall.
“I don’t know if we’re ready, but we don’t have a choice,”Chris laughed. “We’re very excited. It’s a very exciting time now. We’re a little nervous, but it’s gonna be awesome.”
American Idol may be suffering from declining ratings, but it looks like there may be a baby boom in the making among the Idol alumnae.
The newest addition to the American Idol family arrived on July 17 when first season finalist Tamyra Gray and husband, Sam Watters, welcomed daughter Sienna Marie.
“We are overjoyed with the arrival of our little lady,” Gray, 30, says of the arrival. “I’ve never known love to this capacity. She smiles already and it just stills my heart.”
It has a busy year for the Idol alumnae with Bo fourth season finalist Bo Bice welcoming his third son in January, fifth season finalist Chris Daughtry announcing that he is expecting twins, and fourth season finalist Constatine Maroulis just announced he is expecting his first child.
American Idol rocker Chris Daughtry gave a BIG announcement on his web site yesterday. He’s quitting music forever? He’s got an album coming out with Ruben Studdard? He’s secretly best friends with Simon Cowell? No, no, and no. He and his wife Deanna are expecting twins through a surrogate!
