Celine Dion will continue breastfeeding in Vegas
Céline Dion plans to carry on breastfeeding her twins when she starts her Las Vegas gig.
Dion is about to start a three-year run of concerts at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on March 15th and says she will continue to breastfeed. You go girl!
“I can either go to them or they can come to me — it’s going to be practical, it’s going to be easy since I’m still breastfeeding the babies, so it’s every three hours – for both,” she told Access Hollywood.
“The show is an hour and 40 minutes. Then I have time to shower and get loose and relax and breastfeed the babies again and then have a bite and go to bed myself.”
Wow! She makes it sound so easy, doesn’t she?
I don’t know about you, but if I had tiny little babies and I was uber famous, I’d hide them ala Michael Jackson masks and all. But Celine Dion? She ready and willing to share her twins, Nelson and Eddy with the world and the people of the Cesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
With pomp and circumstance the mom of three was part of a ceremony as part of her triumphant return to the stage with her one-woman show “Celine.”

Oprah Winfrey made a lot of people happy on her show today. The famous talk show host welcomed Celine Dion and her twins to The Oprah Winfrey Show for the 27th time…that’s more than any other guest or entertainer ever!
Celine, who gave birth to twins boys last fall, were both named after people she admires: Nelson is named after Nelson Mandela, whom Ms. Dion said they had met in person and had characteristics that both she and her husband admired and Eddy is named after Eddy Marnay, the producer of her first French albums, who has been a hero and friend in her life. Celine Dion Claims Her Twins Are "Baby Geniuses."
At just four months old, Celine Dion’s twins are more highly developed than the average baby!
On Monday’s episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show, the canadian singer reveals that her boys are already growing up bilingual.
“We mainly speak French to them,” Dion tells Winfrey of her tots, named after civil rights icon Nelson Mandela and French songwriter Eddy Marnay. “And they speak French to us, too,” she jokes.
“They wave, they speak French — they’ve got it all,” the Grammy-winning singer says.

Celine Dion tragically lost the third child she was expecting
Celebrity mom and singer Celine Dion, who gave birth to healthy twin boys last Saturday, recently revealed that she was originally pregnant with triplets. Dion, 42, and husband Rene Angelil, 68, tragically lost the third baby shortly after Dion discovered she was pregnant. “He chose to let go to give space to his brothers to grow,” said Dion of her unborn child.
In a recent interview, Angelil spoke of the bittersweet birth of their healthy twin boys, explaining that “[he and his wife] were crying” when the first of the twin boys came into this world. We were both thinking about the time it took. We are very lucky, very privileged and very fortunate to have these boys,” Angelil confesses.
Twins Eddy and Nelson join the couple’s oldest son, Rene-Charles, age 9. Our hearts go out to Celine and her family during this difficult but joyous time in their lives.
