Mega Millions Mania! How Winning $640 Million Would Let You Live Like a Celeb Parent (Photos)
Got your Mega Millions ticket yet?
The whole country is psyched for tonight’s lottery drawing with the country’s biggest jackpot at stake – a whopping $640 million at this writing, and the total could go even higher.
That’s a life-changing amount that would skyrocket you to the top of the 1% overnight and open the door to luxuries you never dared dream of.
You could start living the way many of your favorite celebrity parents do, spending money on items once thought out of your reach.
Like Beyonce here, you could give your baby’s nursery a $1 million makeover and fill it with platinum jewelry, a gold rocking horse, and furniture worth tens of thousands of dollars…and your bank account wouldn’t even feel it. Like Bey, you could also hire a host of nannies to watch over your darlings every so often while you step out for a spa day or date night.
Best of all, you could also follow the example of famous parents like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie and use your money to do some good in the world as well.
What else could you do with that staggering sum? We offer some inspiration here from other wealthy parents.
And when you collect your winnings, maybe you could share a bit with your favorite Famecrawler bloggers?
Just a suggestion.

Bromance! Which Celeb Dads Are BFFs in Real Life? (Photos)
Tom Cruise and Will Smith have more than talent and great smiles in common. They’re both devoted dads – and best friends even when the cameras aren’t turned on them.
They attend each other’s premieres, and the families often hang out together – Will with wife Jada Pinkett Smith and their children Jaden and Willow, Tom with wife Katie Holmes and their daughter Suri. And when Tom was taking a drubbing for his controversial belief in Scientology, Will stuck up for him. “When I sit and talk to Tom Cruise, he is one of the greatest spirits that I’ve ever met – someone who is committed to making the world better.”
Tom has said, “We share that same level of reality and commitment that we have to our craft and our family. It’s fun. Wherever Will Smith is, that’s where the party is!”
There’s nothing like a good friend. And when your friend is a fellow parent, the bond becomes even closer because you can share all the triumphs, laughs and frustrations that go with having kids.
We rounded up some of the best celeb-dad friend-pairings for your enjoyment. Some of them might surprise you!

Etsy is a fascinating place to buy a wide array of crafts, artwork, and just plain awesomeness. And while a hand-knitted tea cozy, a necklace made from found object or crazy quilts are de rigueur but one of the most interesting genres are how celebrities are honored on the site.
Fans of Angelina Jolie, David Beckham, Jay-Z and even Tori Spelling have meticulously made merchandise of their heroes. It’s a interesting and eclectic mix…and all of them? They’re parents (plus a Suri Cruise bonus!).

Sarah Jessica Parker Walks Her Mini-Me Son to School (Photos)
Gwen Stefani and SJP are probably the celeb moms whose style I like the best.
Gwen is so creatively punk and SJP is just so NYC street chic. She can throw together the coolest ensembles for even just the most mundane errands, like walking her son James to school.
Just going by photographs, of course, James has always seemed like a sweetly serious kid. Which is no surprise considering his parents are seemingly intelligent, book reading type folks.
Anyway, SJP and her sweet son were snapped as she walked him to school today in Manhattan. Check out her super simple/sassy street style, and Jame’s long hair in the photos below.
Celebrity Parents And Their Most Embarrassing Photos
Usually, when a friend or a relative posts a not-so-flattering picture of you on Facebook, you have the option to untag, hide, or block the photo from your feed so your 1,233 friends don’t see it. Unfortunately for the rich and famous, they don’t have that option when it comes to unflattering photos snapped of them by the paparazzi picking their nose or having one of their – ahem – girlfriends poking out.
And for that, aren’t you glad that you don’t live in a $10 million Hollywood Hills home with five housekeepers, unlimited Birkin bags and all the fame in the world? I mean, really, being a celebrity parent is like having a public Facebook profile with unphotoshopped and unfilitered pictures of you in the morning with no make-up on, and who would want to have that?
Check out some of the most embarrassing photos of celebrity parents that we’ve dug up and tell us what you think. It’s been a slow news weekend, so have fun browsing through and you’re welcome. Continue reading »
Sandra Bullock Lives a Mom’s Worst Nightmare: “So Scary!”
If you’re a mom, you’ve been through it: that heart-stopping moment when you realize that your child is sick or hurt beyond just a simple stubbed toe or sniffly nose. For me, it happened when my son was 2. A simple cough one Sunday morning suddenly escalated to a full-scale hacking, a raging fever and an upchuck of the dose of baby Tylenol I tried to give him. Fortunately, we have the Pediatrician From Heaven, who returned my call to her service within minutes, listened to my son’s cough over the phone and calmly said, “Meet me in the ER. I’ll be right over.”
So I can totally relate – and I know you can, too – to Sandra Bullock‘s recent crisis with her adorable 2-year-old son, Louis.
A source tells Us Weekly that during the Academy Awards ceremony, Bullock was overheard talking to a friend at the bar about her terrible mom moment. “The scariest thing happened the other day,” the actress said. “Louis had this really high fever.”
