Millions of women go through divorces without partying and doing drugs with their daughters.
There seems to be two kinds of celeb moms making news these days.
There is the rash of celebrity mamas saddled up on their high horses and running roughshod over the plebian moms across the nation such as myself, and then there are the other mamas, clubbing with kids and acting younger than their children..
The former group of prententious parents are constantly spouting off about their superior skills and their precocious progeny with transparent humble brags designed to make the rest of us feel like Joan Crawford in Mommie Dearest, while the latter group are taking parenthood to extremes that send eyebrows skyward.
Now look, I’m not trying to be a celeb hating douchebag, because I’m really not! I am a bit of an idiot savant about all things celebrity. Go ahead, quiz me! Give me quotes and ask which celeb said it. Ask me who dated who ten years ago and I’m all over it! I retain celebrity gossip like Warren Buffet retains Benjamin Franklins. I’m a sucker for this stuff.
But, now that I’m a mama, the celeb moms who are either constantly yammering about how much weight they lost two weeks after giving birth, how brilliant their children are or how UH-mazing parenting is drive me nuts! I actually prefer the moms behaving badly (like Courtney Love) to the supercilious likes of Gisele and Gwyneth.
Come on gals! Get over yourselves and, in the process, cut the rest of us some slack. You’re beautiful and make millions, can’t you stop the LIFE-IS-SO-AMAZING show for two seconds and be real? I think my Strollerderby colleague Carolyn Castiglia said it best in her article, Go Away Gwyneth. You’re Ruining Everything For Everybody. I second that emotion for Gisele.

Jay-Z and Beyonce have applied to trademark the name Blue Ivy.
Beyonce and Jay-Z’s newborn daughter keeps getting more and more famous by the day! Now, at just 1-month-old, Blue Ivy Carter is getting her name trademarked by her parents.
According to The Washington Post, on Jan. 26, Jay-Z and Beyonce filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to protect their daughter’s name and reserve it for a future line of baby products.
Jay and B may have been a little slow on their idea as other companies have already ventured into trademarking the baby’s name. Fashion designer Joseph Mbeh submitted an application to trademark “Blue Ivy Carter NYC” on Jan. 11, and another applicant filed on Jan. 20 for “Blue Ivy Carter Glory IV” to use on a line of fragrances.
Luckily for the superstar couple, their submissions were denied because the name belonged to a very famous infant and buyers would be confused as to who was selling the products.
However, owner’s of a store, Blue Ivy, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin may become very rich in the near future. The owners filed for the trademark of its name well before Beyonce was even pregnant. Their applicated was approved on August 23 and they now own the rights to the trademark unless a certain celebrity couple wants to offer up some millions for the rights.

There’s really not much to write here other than Sandra Bullock and her little man Louis Bardo definitely deserve the cutest mother/son duo award for the uber cuteness we see here.
The Oscar nominated actress was caught by the paparazzi dropping off Louis at his pre-school in Beverly Hills.
According to online rumors, Sandra has found a new romance after being photographed attending a private party with a mystery man. We can only wonder who this new guy is!

Teen Mom Leah Messer’s twin girls Aleeah and Aliannah are growing up very quickly, especially considering that the current season that’s airing was filmed over a year ago!
Luckily for us, Messer posted the most adorable video of Aleeah gabbing about monsters and food!

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Antonia Gorga will be modeling in a fashion show for If The Bow Fits – Chicago’s premiere fashion boutique for children, Sunday, January 22nd in Naperville, Illinois. Antonia will be featured in some of the best of If The Bow Fits collections as well as 10 other models in the show.
In addition, Café Buonaro’s Italian Restaurant will be hosting a celebrity “meet and greet” with The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Melissa and Joe Gorga. Guests will enjoy a sit-down dinner for each guest featuring a salad, appetizer, and family-style entrée selection, two glasses of wine, and dessert.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet and take photographs with the Gorga’s in an intimate, family-style setting; copies of Melissa’s hit debut single, “On Display,” will be available for purchase.
