Just hours after the cause of Michael Jackson’s death was revealed and the Los Angeles County Coroner ruled his death a homicide, his still-grieving family spoke out.
After an affidavit unsealed earlier today revealed that Michael Jackson died from large quantities of the sedative propofol found in his system, the Los Angeles County Coroner has now ruled the pop singer’s death a homicide. The finding will make it more likely that criminal charges will be filed against Dr. Conrad Murray, the doctor believed to have administered the powerful sedative to Jackson just hours before his death.
According to a search warrant affidavit unsealed in a Houston court today and obtained by the Los Angeles Times, Michael Jackson died from lethal levels of the anesthetic propofol. The official coroner’s report is still sealed due to the ongoing investigation.
