Carrie Prejean has a baby girl
Carrie Prejean is mom to a baby girl.
The former beauty queen and her husband, Kyle Boller, have welcomed a daughter, Grace Christina.
The baby girl, weighing in at eight pounds, was born May 11, two days before Carrie’s 24th birthday.
Prejean and Oakland Raiders quarterback Boller, 29, were married last July.
Prejean received national attention in 2009 through a series of events that occurred after pageant judge and gossip blogger Perez Hilton used his final question in the Miss USA pageant to ask Prejean about same-sex marriage laws in the United States, and used his popular gossip blog to publicize her response. Hilton, who is gay, thought that her views were prejudiced.
“In my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman,” she said.
Carrie Prejean is known more for not winning Miss USA than winning. She became a political lightening rod when she was open about her stance against same-sex marriages during the Q&A section of the competition. She felt that she was not crowned Miss USA due to her controversial –seemingly non-PC- answer. But as irony would have it, she became far more famous for not winning than if she answered the question in a safer way. A blessing in disguise.

Carrie Prejean, the former beauty queen that caused quite a controversy when she voiced that she didn’t support gay marriage, is pregnant!
Carrie Prejean told FOX411.com that “We are just so excited. I’m due in May on my grandmother’s birthday. She recently passed away, so that’s very special to us.”
Carrie Prejean is married to Kyle Boller, who is an Oakland Raiders quarterback.
