Did Bret Michaels breakup Miley Cyrus’ parents marriage? US Weekly is reporting that an affair between the country wife and the rock-star is to blame for the Cyrus divorce.
While Michaels has been doing his best to put his love-em-and-leave-em past behind him and paint himself as a family man on his new VH1 show Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It, it appears he may be to blame for breaking up another celebrity couple. Tongues started wagging when news of the Billy Ray / Trish Cyrus divorce was announced last week with everyone trying to guess what caused the breakup after 17 years of marriage.

Poison frontman Bret Michaels will soon undergo heart surgery to repair a hole in his heart.
The rocker turned reality star is currently on his “Roses & Thorns” solo tour, has had this condition unknowingly had since he was born. It was discovered after he had a stroke.
“Is he 100 percent? No, but he’s in good spirits, he’s having fun on the road, he loves his fans and has always said music heals him,” a rep for the rocker said.
“He said that there are times when, of course, he worries but he has great people around him and he’s very cautious.”
Brett is scheduled to go under the knife in in early January.
We saw a sneak peak of Bret Michaels’ longtime love, Kristi Gibson, during the spring preview of his new VH1 show, Bret Michaels: Life as I Know It, last spring. Now it appears that this rocker mom who has mainly stayed on the sidelines of his rock ‘n roll stage may be taking a roll in the spotlight as Michaels indicates that he may be ready to finally walk down the aisle with Kristi.
“We’ve been talking a lot aboutgetting engaged, and we’ll see what happens,” said Michaels after his recent gig co-hosting the 2010 Miss Universe Pageant. “We just want to make sure we’re not doing it for anyone other than ourselves.”
She’s stuck by his side through his Rock of Love days and his recent health scare, so who is Bret Michaels’ potential fiance Kristi Gibson?
We all witnessed Bret Michaels womanizing ways during VH1′s Rock of Love. After years of playing the rock star bachelor, he’s finally ready to settle down with the mother of his children Kristi Lynn Gibson.
The pair have had an on-again off-again relationship for 16 years and share parenting duties of daughters Raine Elizabeth and Jorja Bleu.
Kristi was by Bret’s side during his recent hospitalization for a brain hemorrhage. The brush with death apparently made him realize what is most important in life.

Ever since Simon Cowell announced he was leaving American Idol it has been a free for all on guesses of who will take his place. As the resident mean guy, will the execs try and stick to the formula and find someone just as cranky or will they go in another direction?
Dad Bret Michaels is one star up for the spot. “They did a poll and I think it was Madonna, P. Diddy, Howard Stern and myself, and I took 50% or 60% of the vote and that’s tremendous. I would love to be a judge on American Idol. I think I would bring a lot to the table,” he told Parade Magazine.
Bret Michaels has his priorities a bit backwards. His health should be his number one priority, right alongside his family. But the 47-year-old rocker and dad of two opted to risk his physical wellbeing, and perhaps his life, to go and perform on the final episode of American Idol doing his hit ‘Every Rose Has It’s Thorn’.
Last month he had a brain hemorrhage, this month he had a “warning stroke” and he’ll be undergoing heart surgery later this year. Now most people in his shoes would take a break, to rest, relax and recharge. But not Bret. Just last week he surprisingly appeared on the finale of Celebrity Apprentice, a move that seemed to be pushing the envelope.
