Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may be one of the hottest celebrity couples, and they also have one of the most controversial magazine covers – ever!
When Pitt was splitting from then wife Jennifer Aniston and promoting his new film with Jolie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, the current parents of six posed together on W magazine. Pitt and Jolie posed with a mock family that was either ill-timed or simply done in bad taste.
Aniston then reacted in saying that Pitt “was missing a sensitivity chip.” We couldn’t agree more. But that cover shot will go down in history. As will the other shots we put together below!

Celebrity father and Angelina Jolie’s other half, Brad Pitt turns 48 today.
Yes, 48. The same man who we fell in love with during A River Runs Through It, oogled over in Fight Club and said what the heck during The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
That’s right lady – our true and one and only Hollywood crush is almost 50, yet in our minds he will always be 38, right?

Angelina Jolie takes her kids to FAO Schwartz in New York City.
It sure was a day of fun for Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt as parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie treated them to a day at famed New York City toy store, FAO Schwartz, on Wednesday (Dec. 7).
Paparazzi hounded the family as they entered and exited the store. Jolie originally lead the way with Z and Vivienne, while Brad lead the family on their way out.
Can we comment on how unhappy these children look? If I were under 10-years-old and walking in and out of FAO Schwartz, I’d be smiling from ear to ear. But then again, this could be a regular occurrence for these children.

Whenever Brad Pitt accompanies girlfriend-for-life Angelina Jolie at one of her red carpet premieres, we always tend to focus on her collection of funeral home dresses in her three colors of black, more black, and very black while really, the true fashionista in this couple here is Brad.
Brad is really a Fantastic Sam’s dream customer. He continually changes his look with either blonde highlights, long hair, cropped hair, Jack Nicholson hair, and sometimes very bleach-blonde hair. We never really knew how much Brad loved his…. hair.

Beyonce announced her pregnancy at MTV's VMAs.
For thousands of years, the family unit had always been centered around the dad. But with celebrity moms-to-be such as Beyonce and Jessica Simpson taking the spotlight due to a pregnancy, are the dads now simply filling a role that can be occupied by anyone? Can many people even name Simpson’s fiance at the drop of a hat?
Catherine Connors, Moderator of Babble Voices, says, “Moms are everywhere, with their blogs and their businesses and their status as one of the most important constituencies in all corners of public life, from town hall to marketplace.”
Simpson is now the breadwinner of her family with an empire worth $1 billion. And think about all of the pregnancy announcements, bump watches, baby showers, and weddings. All of these events are centered around the female entity in the family. Even when high profile celebrities get divorced (Britney Spears, Halle Berry), it’s almost a given that the children end up with their mother.
Do you really think TLC would have continued their hit show Jon & Kate Plus 8 had Kate Gosselin been the one to leave the series?
So where do the fathers end up in all of this? Should we try to focus more on the dads of our culture like we here at Babble are trying to do with our Top 50 Dad Blog list and our soon-to-be-launched dad section? Or do we simply let culture weave it’s way to one side or the other?

Are Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's kids out of control?
It can’t be easy trying to keep a handle on six kids, but Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie definitely seem to take the whole parenting thing in stride.
One source who knows the couple, however, gives the impression that the Jolie-Pitt kids are nothing but a bunch of brats who are totally out of control. The source told Star magazine:
“Pax is the ringleader. He can be aggressive, and he and Maddox can get physical with each other. They’re a real handful.”
Hugh Jackman says adoption was his destiny.
In a new interview with the Herald Sun, celebrity dad Hugh Jackman opens up about the process of adoption. While it was not an easy path, it definitely seemed like destiny for him and wife Deborra Lee Furness.
It was painful to hear that they couldn’t conceive as a couple. “It was painful. It’s not easy. You put a lot of time and effort into it, so it’s emotional. I think any parent can relate – trying to have children is wonderful and when you feel as though that’s not going to happen, there’s a certain anxiety that goes with it.”
Deborra and Hugh finally had enough with IVF treatments and turned to adoption. And it happened quicker than expected.
“From the moment we started the adoption process, all the anxiety went away. I don’t think of them [son Oscar, 11, and daughter Ava, 6] as adopted – they’re our children. Deb and I are believers in … I suppose you could call it destiny. We feel things happened the way they are meant to. Obviously, biologically wasn’t the way we were meant to have children. Now, as we go through life together, sure there are challenges, but everyone’s in the right place with the right people. It sounds airy-fairy, but it’s something we feel very deeply.”
