Sargent Shriver 1915-2011.
Friends and family gathered to celebrate the life of the late R. Sargent Shriver this Saturday (Jan. 22). The famous public servant died Tuesday following a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
President Bill Clinton, First Lady Michelle Obama, U2′s Bono, and Oprah Winfrey were all in attendance at the funeral service.
Shriver saw the Peace Corps launch in the early 1960s, then he went on to serve a number of presidential administrations.

This morning, FIFA’s executive committee will decide which nations will host the World Cup finals in 2018 and 2022. Because of how high profile and profitable it is to host the World Cup, countries have been doing all they can in their bids to host. Multi-million dollar campaigns were launched.
England and Russia seem to have an edge for 2018 while the USA and Australia are the favorites for 2022. We’ll have to wait to hear the results as a surprise is always possible.

Apparently former president Bill Clinton, the father of one who admitted to cheating on his wife and lying about it to the whole country, passed the “Hangover” crew’s morality test where Mel Gibson, the father of eight who has made voicemail boxes across the nation cry, could not. Clinton is set to cameo in “The Hangover 2,” the followup to the smash 2009 movie starring my (fantasy) husband Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis.
Bill Clinton isn’t just talking politics anymore. The former President can’t stop dishing about his daughter’s new marriage and how much he loves her hubby Mark Mezvinsky!

Turns out Bill Clinton, who lost a ton of weight before the wedding at his daughter’s request so that he’d be healthy enough to walk her down the aisle, got a little funky at the reception.
The former president did the moonwalk as amused guests looked on. Or at least he attempted to do the moonwalk. Not bad for a 63-year-old with heart issues.
