Aubrey Plaza joked about her run-in with Katie Couric in an elevator on “The Tonight Show”.
The funny actress and comedienne who currently co-stars as April Ludgate on the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation, used to be a page for NBC during the days when Katie Couric was a network mainstay on Today.
Aubrey was “asked to leave” her position after only four months because, “I would lie a lot,” she told Jay Leno.
While hosting Today, Couric mistakenly took an elevator to the wrong floor, and when she admitted her faux-pas, Plaza turned to her and asked “Are you new here, miss? I can teach you about the elevators.”
Plaza says she eventually let on that she was joking. But even then, Plaza was already using her trademark deadpan face that she even fooled Kouric.
Here’s a picture of Adam Sandler and his daughter Sadie. From what I gather on Adam’s t-shirt, he’s a Miley Cyrus fan! Either that or he and Sadie traded clothes for a day. Could that be Adam’s bikini she’s wearing? Sorry – didn’t mean to burn an image into your brain of Adam Sandler wearing a bikini.
