Jennifer Lopez rocked fur in NYC!
American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez may not be Peta’s favorite person right now, but fur is definitely J.Lo’s best friend!
The celebrity mom was spotted in New York City over the weekend sporting a very thick white fur coat with oversized sunglasses. She certainly looked like a force to be reckoned with!
Now, this very well could be a faux fur coat (we hope), but either way, at 42-year-old, Lopez doesn’t look a day over 30.

Now that American Idol has been going on for ten years, it’s not a surprise that many of the past contestants have children of their own.
Past contestants such as Justin Guarini, Tamyra Gray, Chris Daughtry, and Fantasia are all either expecting or have welcomed a child into the world in the past year.

Jennifer Hudson shows off her extra slim body!
Singing superstar and celebrity mom Jennifer Hudson is turning 30-years-old today, and she certainly has a lot to celebrate including her amazing body slimdown!
Hudson first came on the scene in 2004 on the third season of American Idol, where she was controversially booted prematurely. Hudson blasted herself back onto the scene in 2008′s Dreamgirls alongside Beyonce and went on to win an Oscar for her performance.
But it was her 2004 appearance on AI that first made her feel overweight.
“I didn’t even know I was considered plus-sized until I came to Hollywood,” she revealed in the September issue of Self magazine. “I thought I was the perfect size!”
Over the years, and thanks to Weight Watchers, Hudson has gone from a size 16 to a size 0!
“I’m prouder of my weight loss than my Oscar!” she says.

Jason Castro and Daughter
It’s a baby girl for American Idol alumnae Jason Castro and his wife Mandy!
The singer-songwriter welcomed daughter, Madeline Emilia Castro, on Sunday. Castro shared the details of Madeline’s arrival on Twitter beginning early Sunday morning writing, “My wife woke up at 5:30 this morning with contractions… came to the birth center and they sent us home! we werent quite ready.. until now!”
Fanstasia Barrino has been ordered to bed rest.
After announcing her pregnancy just a few short weeks ago, American Idol alum Fantasia Barrino has been ordered to bed rest and forced to cancel a scheduled performance at the Bronner Brothers International Hair Show.
“Due to medical conditions, Fantasia has been placed on bed rest and will not be performing at the show. However, the lovely and talented Kelly Price is now scheduled to be the headliner for Saturday evening,” reads a statement from the company.
No statement has been released by her reps yet regarding the health of Barrino or her baby.
This will be the second child for Barrino who has daughter, Zion, 10. And it’s speculated that her baby’s father is boyfriend Antwaun Cook, but that has yet to be confirmed as well.
Jennifer Lopez took her twins to Disneyland.
Jennifer Lopez took her 3-year-old twins, Max and Emme, to Disneyland on Saturday (June 25) in Anaheim, California.
Jennifer, her twins, and extended family got escorted around the park by a Disneyland employee. Must be nice to have that much pull.
Lopez rode Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride with Emme, as the mother-daughter duo shared a lollipop.
Lopez is still keeping mum about whether or not she’ll return for another season of American Idol. But considering how much flack she has been getting for her lack of criticism, I’m not sure she should return.

Former American Idol contestant Jason Castro proudly walked the red carpet of last night’s American Idol Season 10 finale (May 25) with pregnant wife Mandy Mayhall.
The Season 7 alum patted his wife’s belly the entire walk of the carpet as they walked towards the Nokia Theatre.
Perhaps they will name their first child after the Idol champ Scotty McCreery!

It’s hard to believe that Castro will already be a father at such a young age, but you can’t help that fact that these two truly seem to love one another.
