So many people are looking forward to tonight’s Dunk Contest 2011, and many people have their eyes on Blake Griffin, and for good reason! Rumor has it, Blake is going to jump over a car!
And maybe it’s more than just a rumor. The New York Times is actually reporting that Blake Griffin (also known as Quake Griffin and The Rim Reaper) will be jumping over a 2011 Toyota Corolla.
Can he do it? Well, Griffin is 6’10″. The Toyota Corolla is about 4’10″ at its top point. Since we know that he can get eye-level with a 10-foot rim, that equates to he can lift himself only over 3 feet off a ground. Hmmm….this should be interesting!

It was fitting for George Steinbrenner to die on the morning of All-Star Game. The 80-year-old Yankees owner was a father of four, champion of the high-priced free-agent nab, smartypants businessman, hands-on boss, tremendously controvertial figure and, at heart, a true showman. And tonight, the All-Star Game is sure to turn into one massive, gushing Steinbrenner tribute. He’d have loved that. And his two sons surely will as well. Boys Hank Steinbrenner and Hal Steinbrenner have followed in their father’s footsteps, in more ways than one.
I know there are so many important things going on in the world today. There are choices to make, convincing to do, but apparently the most important thing right now for Barack Obama to do is to go get some new jeans.
At least that’s the way the media portrayed it.
LL COOL J had a little mid-air scare on a recent flight to Phoenix. He was flying to catch the All-Star baseball game when the plane he was on had to make an emergency landing.
