The Oscars Air On ABC In The USA.
With the 83rd annual Academy Awards being one of the most anticipated events of the year, many are wondering what channel to find the show on!
Anne Hathaway and James Franco are hosting the event this year and so far have done an entertaining job at it.
In the United States, the Oscars are broadcasting on ABC. In Canada, the Oscars will be broadcast on CTV.
With the announcement of the Dancing With The Stars cast just around the corner, everyone is talking about which stars they’d love to see shimmying across the stage. Russell Brand? Great choice. Bethenny Frankel? I could see that. Tila Tequila? Could be interesting. Snooki? Whoa- pump the breaks.
Although amusing to watch almost anyone with minimal dance experience partake in a nationally televised dance-0ff, the thought of some supposed “stars” joining the cast makes me grimace. After 20 seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette and only two weddings, ABC has found yet another way to make even more trashy TV.
The Bachelor Pad.
Ah yes. A handful of heartbroken guys and gals from previous seasons come together to stir some more drama in this spin-off.
This time, these 19 money-hungry castoffs are put into a house a la Big Brother, pitting them against one another for a $250,000 grand prize and another “shot at romance”.
What the show is really about is a bunch of hot hard bodies running around in bikinis and swimming trunks!
The Lost Season 6 premiere is hours away, and with it comes the beginning of the end for the popular show — the series will be wrapping up this year. It also marks the end of Matthew Fox’ small screen career — he says he plans to quit television after the show ends. Disclaimer: I’ve never watched the show. Commence the flogging.
Fired bachelorette Rozlyn Papa, who was one of 25 women vying for 15 minutes of fame the heart of The Bachelor Jake Pavelka, says not only did ABC exaggerate her relationship with a producer, but they reneged on an agreement that she could talk about her 7-year-old son Aidan and that he could visit her on the show.
Who’s getting their own TV show? Nicole Richie! Yup, the socialite, entrepreneur and busy mom of two has just confirmed on her website that she will be starring in and producing a half hour scripted comedy show for ABC.
