Barack Obama and the First Family Takes Fitness Seriously
Sure, he probably puts in 27-hour days, but Barack Obama doesn’t neglect his health. President Obama and the First Family are pretty serious about fitness. Obama, father to Sasha and Malia, says, “Since I was a kid - when I looked at my grandfather at 55 - he already looked old. These days, at 55, people are in the prime of life.”
President Obama is on the cover of the October issue of Men’s Health. In it, he jokes about the bowl of apples he keeps in the Oval Office. “It was our first step toward health reform.” And yeah, health-care reform has been a big issue with Obama for a while now…starting even before his Presidential campaign.
“Even when I was a community organizer,” President Obama says, “I was paid $13,000 a year, I benefited from the fact that the guy who hired me insisted that I get health care as part of the package. And, you know, at the age of 24, 25, you think you’re immortal. So I was thinking to myself, boy, I could use that money to pay the rent. But he was very firm about everybody having health care, and I think that he did me a great service during that time.”
Six days a week, Obama exercises, even while balancing the job of President with his role as a father of two girls. It’s the job, actually, that makes him really appreciate the gym even more.
“My blood pressure is pretty low, and I tend to be a healthy eater. So I probably could get away with cutting my workouts back a little bit,” President Obama says. “The main reason I do it is just to clear my head and relieve me of stress.”
See, that’s where Barack and I differ. Me, I just have Guinness to relieve the stress.

Kim Kardashian Wants a Baby
Kim Kardashian went out shopping recently with preggo sister Kourtney at Bel-Bambini in Hollywood. And she wrote on her blog about not knowing the sex of her sister’s baby.
“I found that really hard,” Kim says. “I just wanted to shop for pink or blue. Haha! I want Kourt and Scott to find out already!!” Yeah, she really wanted to emphasize that last bit; thus, the two exclamation points.
Then she throws out this shocker. “I want a baby!!!!” Yeah, FOUR exclamation points. So she wants the baby twice as much as she wants to know the sex of her sister’s. “OK, so maybe not right now, but I can’t wait to be an aunt!”
Clearly, someone needs to alert the Punctuation Police!!!!! The idea of Kim Kardashian being someone’s mom? SCARY!!!!!!!!

Charlotte Church Says Baby Dexter is a Terrible Flirt
Singer Charlotte Church recently enjoyed the christening of her 7-month-old son, Dexter Lloyd Henson, saying Dexter is a “terrible flirt.” Charlotte and husband Gavin Henson - who is a rugby player - celebrated with a nice little ceremony in the church, followed by a karaoke party at their farmhouse in Wales.
“We’re big on family parties and will find any excuse to get everyone together,” said Charlotte, 23. She’s also mom to Ruby, who is almost 2.
Word is that Charlotte is about to make a musical comeback, too. I’m sure she’ll do great. The girl has been belting out tunes since nearly before she was a baby herself.

Kelly Ripa Refuses to Make a Boob Out of Herself
Covering the latest issue of “Life & Style,” Kelly Ripa says, “I have small boobs.” In other obvious news, the Pope is Catholic. “When I shop, I basically hold the clothes up, put the hanger over my head and go, ‘It kinda looks like it’ll fit.’”
The costar of “Live With Regis and Kelly” says she has “to have the bust taken out of everything” she buys. Only 5′3″ tall, Kelly (38) has no problem with plastic surgery, but isn’t looking to get a boob job herself. “I am such a wimp!”
“I like to say I’m a 32A long,” she says. “I’ve added the ‘long’ because I’ve nursed three kids.” And while she often cracks self-deprecating when it comes to her breasts, she says, “I feel really happy as I am now and with what I’ve got.”
And hubby Mark Consuelos? “He’s happy, so he doesn’t care about that.”
Then she winked and brushed her hand over the Kama Sutra sitting next to her.
