Minnie Driver Finally Speaks
The identity of Minnie Driver’s baby daddy had been a big Hollywood secret for years. But she finally given some pretty big clues of who fathered her son Henry (who was born in September of 2008.) But she has finally decided that she doesn’t need to “protect him” anymore.
So who is this mystery man and the baby daddy of 3-year-old Henry Story Driver?
According to Minnie during a recent interview, she revealed that his father was a writer on the show she once starred on which has since been cancelled, the drama “The Riches.”
“We weren’t together and he wasn’t directly in the business, so I chose to protect him and not have a rain of publicity,” Driver said explaining to the Observer magazine why she kept it hush-hush. “I don’t need to protect him anymore. He can fend for himself. He’s a grown-up.”
It’s been tough for Minnie. “I was making a film at the time and the paparazzi would shout, ‘Who’s the sperm donor?’ at me,” Driver said. “He’s not famous. There’s no big story.” When she was asked if he was a good father to Henry she said, “Sort of. He’s figuring it out.” She added, “I mean, he hasn’t been that involved; his choice. But he is now.”
