Whitney’s Daughter Bobbi Kristina Rushed to the Hospital!
Bobbi Kristina is recovering from a breakdown following her mother's death.
Whitney Houston‘s daughter, 18-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown, was rushed to the hospital late last night for what People has described as a “complete breakdown.”
As previously reported, Bobbi Kristina arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel several hours after her mother was found dead in the bathtub of her room there. She screamed at officers who wouldn’t let her go into the room, and according to one source, cried, “What’s wrong with her? What’s wrong with her?”
At 10:26 on Saturday, the teen was taken to Cedars Sinai Medical Center, “awake and alert,” according to a press release. No word yet on her condition, or whether she has been discharged.
This new crisis is sad, but not unexpected. The pop diva and her daughter were very close, and for a girl to lose her mother at such a young age – and so tragically – is a life-changingly devastating experience.
Bobbi Kristina played a motherly role to Whitney during her years battling her substance-abuse addiction, but in recent months they had become musical collaborators. The mother and daughter had begun recording songs together.
More details as they happen. For now, all we can do is wish her well and pray she has the strength to bear what no child should have to endure.
