Madonna proved during the Superbowl Halftime show that she STILL has it. Yes, she stumbled. She shared the stage with oodles of people, pop stars, B-boys, gladiators – most of whom are young enough to be her own children. But this mom of four, can still put on a pair of high heel right high boots and shimmy, shake and sizzle like it was 1986.

Check out these five reasons why Madonna ruled during the Superbowl.

1) So what if she stumbled. As we all know, when a celebrity of any caliber stumbles, everyone likes to watch. But Madonna, she just gets back up and keeps on going. And I’d love to see ANY of us traipsing around a stage singing and dancing in front of millions, in high heels and in our 50s! Seriously.

2) She looks amazing. Seriously. Whatever work, injections, diet, skin care regime she is or isn’t doing…well it’s working.

3) She integrated the new school into her old school. Her new song featured guest appearances with M.I.A. (who gave us the finger) and Nicki Minaj. She had a dance off with LMFOA, and got soulful with Cee-Lo. All while paying tribute to her old school hits like Like a Prayer, Express Yourself and Vogue.

4) The costumes. In a short amount of time, Madonna, while of stage, slyly changed her outfit for each song. She’s a master dresser (and undresser too!)

5) The pomp and circumstance that is a Madonna performance. This woman knows how to entertain. She can sing, she can dance, and she’s totally magnetic. You can not take your eyes off of her while she is performing.
