Hugh Jackman and Family Are Stars at Scootering! (Photos)

Almost nothing can slow down New Yorkers. Blizzards, hurricanes, heat waves, transit strikes, naked cowboys in Times Square – we take it all in stride and keep right on going to whatever important business lies ahead.
So even though this week has brought some frigid temps and brisk winds to our fair city, we don’t hide indoors. We don’t even put the scooters away for the winter. We just follow the lead of Hugh Jackman, his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness and their 6-year-old daughter, Ava. Throw on a couple of layers, pull on the hats and hoods, slip the sweater on the dog and away we go.
Scootering must be Ava’s preferred mode of travel. She’s been photographed year-round pushing herself along on her favorite pink three-wheeler, usually accompanied by her dad and their French bulldog, Peaches.
Hugh may be an Aussie by birth, but his never-slow-down pace says Manhattan all the way.
