Michelle Williams

The ever youthful Michelle Williams is always adorable. And when she talks about her daughter Matilda, she glows. You can tell how mom is her biggest role, bigger than Marilyn, bigger than Dawson’s Creek, bigger than his upcoming role as Gilda.  And she shared her feelings about being a mom with the world in her acceptance speech, a very very touching tribute to her daughter. In the speech she said…

“I consider myself A mother first and actress second – so the person I most want to thank is my daughter my little girl, her bravery and her exuberance, an example I take with me to my work and in my life and I want to thank you for sending me off to work every day with a hug and a kiss I could not have done it otherwise and to come home at night and to hear for six months where all the princesses were read in a Marilyn Monroe sounding voice.”

So sweet. It wasn’t an aside, it wasn’t a post note, it was the most poignant and focus of her speech. So, so sweet.
