Jennifer Hudson’s Parenting Advice for Beyonce: “It Goes So Fast!”
Jennifer offers sound advice to Blue Ivy's mother
When you’re a new mom, it can seem as though you’re the only one in the world who ever suffered through mood swings, latching problems, colic, raging diaper rashes and endless waits in the pediatrician’s office.
It helps to get advice from women who have been there – and Jennifer Hudson has some very wise words for Beyonce as she settles into home life with little Blue Ivy.
HollywoodLife.com asked the slimmed-down star what she’d tell Bey if she could, and she promptly answered, “Girl, get your sleep!”
Hudson, who just published a new book, went on to talk about how quickly kids grow up. “Like the baby is 3 days old now? She’s going to look up and she’s going to be six months and the next thing you know she’ll be walking and you’ll be like ‘what happened?’”
She was honest enough to acknowledge that she and Bey do have the advantage of being able to hire nannies to help. “But you’ve got to have that mommy time. So just embrace it and enjoy it.”
As a mom who can barely remember her kids’ infancy now that they’re in grade school, I couldn’t agree more. But what’s even more fun is watching a baby grow up, share kisses, secrets and crayoned pictures.
So Beyonce, snuggle that little girl – and know that the best is yet to come!
