Michelle Williams has yet to congratulate Beyonce on the arrival of her baby girl.

Gwyneth Paltrow, Rihanna, The Dream, and Russell Simmons all congratulated Jay-Z and Beyonce on welcoming a healthy baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter, over the weekend. But more notably, former Destiny’s Child group member Michelle Williams has not send a congrats tweet yet. So what gives?

“Let’s get ONE thing straight….I do NOT have to say congrats to someone when they’re NOT on twitter…ESPECIALLY when I talk or email them all the time….or when I’ll be physically present as well,” Williams wrote in response to a user who suggested she needed to send a message of congratulations on twitter.

“My friendship with people aren’t always for twitter display,” Williams continued. “Respect that and get a LIFE!!! Enjoy this FINE day!!! God bless!!!!”

But Michelle didn’t let all her feelings out quite yet. There was more to be said. In a follow-up tweet, Williams said, “This is a beautiful, precious, private time between two people and excitement is to be expected but NOT disrespect!”

The interesting aspect to all of this is that Kelly Rowland didn’t send a congratulatory tweet either, but she didn’t receive any flak for that.

Why do you think Michelle was targeted while Kelly was not?
