She’s Here! 10 Facts About Beyonce’s Daughter, Blue Ivy Carter (Photos)
Happy Birthday, Blue Ivy! (Or Ivy Blue, depending on who you are listening to this morning.)
It’s only been a few hours since Beyonce gave birth to her daughter Blue Ivy Carter via c-section but that baby is already making the internet rattle and roll!
We’ve waited a full four and a half months for the arrival of Bey’s and Jay-Z’s daughter and she’s finally here! Multiple sources are reporting that the chart topper indeed gave birth to her first child Saturday night at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
If you saw something funny in the sky last night, it was a gleaming ray of light coming down from heaven signaling that the baby was finally here (actually, it was the screen’s glare from a Google Alert notification coming from my iPhone, but let’s pretend). Expect whispered Godmother Kelly Rowland to hold up the baby to the sky on some mountain top Lion King style in 3..2..
Just kidding!
Rihanna was one of first celebrities to officially confirm the baby’s arrival on Twitter early Sunday morning, along with the couple’s friend Russell Simmons.
Check out our slide show and the ten facts about Blue Ivy. And again, congratulations to Beyonce and Jay-Z. While we can’t wait to see pictures of your princess, keep that baby girl away from the media and go back to living your very personal lives privately. Let Blue Ivy enjoy a life as normal as possible in your billion-dollar kingdom.
