Beyonce Gives Birth: Which Pregnant Star Will We Obsess Over Now?
Beyonce has given birth to a baby girl.
Well, it finally happened. Beyonce’s highly scrutinized baby bump has actually produced a baby. Reports containing the headline “Beyonce Gives Birth!,” are all over the web this morning, and it looks like she and Jay-Z are the parents of a healthy baby girl named Blue Ivy Carter.
There is always a ton of excitement when celebrities become pregnant, but for whatever reason, Beyonce generated almost a cult following from fans. From claims that she wasn’t really pregnant at all, and was instead wearing a fake baby bump, to site after site deeming her to be the absolute queen of maternity fashion, Beyonce’s pregnancy took the term “high-profile” to a new level. People seriously just couldn’t get enough of her.
Now that Beyonce has given birth, they hype surrounding her will probably start to die down. After all, nobody really cares about the mom anymore once the baby arrives, right?
With Beyonce off bump watch, which pregnant star will we obsess over next? There are some pretty good A-list choices out there right now as far as bump stalking goes.
1. Jessica Simpson - The birth of Jessica’s baby is definitely a highly anticipated event, but I think the bigger story will be when and if she manages to shed all of her baby weight after delivering her little one. Jess said last week that she wants to look like Jessica Alba after giving birth. Will she be able to meet her goal?
2. Jennifer Garner – Jennifer hasn’t been followed too terribly much by paparazzi during her third pregnancy. There have been pics of her baby bump here and there, but she’s had a much more normal life than Beyonce, that’s for sure. Jen is such a great mom, and there are quite a few fans who are eager to see more beautiful offspring from her and Ben Affleck. However, Jen is just way too down-to-earth for people to get all fired up over when she is going to give birth.
3. Hilary Duff – Hilary is currently on a “babymoon” in Hawaii with husband Mike Comrie enjoying one last vacation as newlyweds before their baby arrives in a couple months. Hilary’s bump has been in the news quite a bit too, and her super-svelte pregnancy body has met headlines more than once. My guess is that there will be quite a bit of hype after she delivers, but nowhere near as much as Beyonce.
