Jessica Alba Launching Business For Green Moms!

Jessica Alba is one busy lady these days! Between adjusting to life with her second daughter, Haven, and getting ready for the holidays, she definitely has a lot on her plate, but that isn’t stopping her from launching a business that caters to green moms!
Jessica’s new company is called The Honest Company, which is a website that will help green moms find eco-friendly baby products all in one place.
Of her interest in starting The Honest Company, Alba said, “When I was preparing for my first child, I started doing research online about how to have a safe home. I was completely shocked by how many dangerous chemicals were in so many products that I used. We were able to create a safe environment for our family but it was very, very expensive. I understand that not a lot of families have the means to buy all new items and products…but there are a lot of great eco-sites out there are helping people buy safe products.”
It sounds like Jessica is just as good a mom to “Mother Earth” as she is to her two little girls. As for how daughter Honor is adjusting to life with a new sibling? Alba reports, “Honor is just the best big sister. I guess that’s a pretty great landmark in itself. She’s so great with Haven.”
Jessica’s company is set to launch in January, so it sounds like she’ll have quite a bit to celebrate in 2012!
