Blast from the past: Sandy in 2004

Sandra Bullock recently said in an interview that her life before motherhood was “emotionally dead” compared to how she feels now and that she of course feels more vulnerable as both a mother and an actress today than in her pre-child life.

Now before we throw our hands up in the air and gasp at the second coming of Gisele Bundchen, Sandy didn’t exactly say her life was dead before babies, as many media outlets are making it out to be.

Sandy told E! Online in an interview, “Everything becomes far more emotional, which I’m grateful for. You feel like you were dead compared to the way you were emotionally before. At least I did.”

“I’m sure Louis informs me in ways I don’t even know how. Everything becomes richer or more important or more frightening or more challenging,” she adds.

While she might have felt “emotionally” dead before babies, I think a lot of moms feel physically dead – if you may – after babies. Has any celebrity ever talked about how challenging and tiresome it is to run after toddlers all day? And of course, without the help of any nannies around?

Check out our photos of Sandy before motherhood and tell us, does she look any different? We don’t think so!
