Ebony Jackson-Rendon and Her Daughter

16 and Pregnant star Ebony Jackson-Rendon has checked into rehab. The teenage mother to 2-year-old Jocelyn is going to try to get her life together – for her daughter’s sake.

It’s been a tough year for Ebony. Back in September her young daughter was taken away after authorities went to her home at the Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas. Ebony and her boyfriend Joshua Rendon were arrested on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor (after police said that the home was littered with “human and dog feces” in almost every room) and also possession of drug paraphernalia. Ebony had admitted that she smoked marijuana to help her cope with depression.

Her dad spoke of her battle and her new stint in rehab saying…“Her state of mind is good. She has her ups and downs,” he told the magazine Star. He added that after arrest she spent a week in rehab but that wasn’t enough. “They put her on medication and released her, and I didn’t feel you can give her help in a week’s time and then she’s better,” he told Star. “She needs to continue getting help.”

Let’s hope she gets her act together, especially for the sake of baby Jocelyn.
