I don’t know about you, but I think that wax figures of the celebrities are just plain creepy. I can appreciate the artistry involved in creating these odes to stars of stage, screen and sound, but something about the deadness of the eyes, or the totally static nature of the poses…it just gives these waxy statues a totally eerie vibe. And I don’t know these people. But let’s say that the sons or daughters of these famous figures came face to face with these fake facsimiles of their folks? Well, it would be jarring to say the least. Let’s hope celebrity parents keep their kids far from the Madame Tussauds where their waxy doppelganger lives.
