Jennifer Lopez Refuses To Be Skinny For Hollywood (Photos)

The gorgeous Jennifer Lopez has recently admitted to firing a manager who once told her to lose weight and instead chooses to celebrate her mama curves in a skinny-obsessed Hollywood.
Speaking about the time she was asked to lose weight by a former manager, the mom-of-two recently told friend Jane Fonda in an interview with Glamour magazine: “I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn’t have a little extra meat on you – because I was by no means fat! That was so mean and closed-minded.”
‘”I was like: ‘No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it was beautiful and there’s no reason to be anybody but myself,’” the American Idol judge said.
Max and Emme’s mom also stated that she no longer feels the pressure to look a certain way and is happy with the curves she has.
“No, I don’t get that now,” she said. “I think people know better.”
We think Jennifer has one of the best bods in the business – and thank her for once again emphasizing that it’s not all about the size of your jeans, but the way you feel. There’s plenty of moms out there that can relate.
