Are Real Housewives shows ruining the lives of the women and moms who star in them?
Honestly, I can’t keep up with all the shows. But reading about Jacqueline Laurita and the drama surrounding her and the other Real Housewives of New Jersey leads me to believe that these shows are completely toxic.
Recently Bravo dismissed four of the ladies on “The Real Housewives of New York”. Now, Laurita of New Jersey’s chapter looks like she’s quitting on her own.
The RHONJ cast member brought the drama to the forefront on her Twitter account, which some believe is a sign that she’s leaving the show.
“I can’t be part of the Charade anymore. It’s unsettling. It’s disturbing & against what I stand for. I’m a REAL housewife,” she wrote.
“There is no real love there. Things aren’t always what they seem. SOME people live a different life OFF camera then they do on. (ahem). You’ll all see through the bull–– if you look closely enough. I think you all are pretty smart.”
People magazine is reporting that Laurita has “definitely quit” and that “she had to walk away for her sanity.”
Bravo has not yet commented on Laurita’s tweets or the rumors that she has quit.
Is Laurita smart for leaving? I think so!
“I’d like to only focus on positive things now please. I threw the trash out. I’m cleaning now and reorganizing. Starting fresh and new.”
Either the Real Housewives series is dying a slow death, or the producers are changing things up to prevent this from happening.
What’s really going on here: are the producers just stirring up more drama in real life for these moms?
