Dr. Phil And Casey Anthony’s Parents – The Interview

dr. phil 199x300 Dr. Phil And Casey Anthonys Parents The InterviewDr. Phil welcomed George and Cindy Anthony to his show today in part one of a hard hitting interview, that will finish airing tomorrow (Wednesday).  Under pressure from Dr. Phil, George Anthony admits Casey was ultimately responsible for what happened to Caylee because she was Caylee’s mother and the last person to be seen with the little girl.  Cindy Anthony would say nothing of the sort.  Cindy only wants to know what’s wrong with Casey, and is hoping Dr. Phil can help.  Cindy believes that there is something wrong with her daughter’s brain, and suggested that Casey is suffering from post- partum schizophrenia.  Dr. Phil wasn’t buying any of what Cindy was trying to spin, and asked Cindy to consider that,

“these are the behaviors of an unconscionable psychopath.”  But Cindy couldn’t be convinced, and Dr. Phil concluded, ”I feel this mother is desperately reaching for any reason to excuse her daughter for her role in this tragedy.”   Ya think?

I actually felt bad for the good Dr. His staff let him down with not having backup information with some of Cindy’s answers. She made statements that could have been challenged if Dr Phil’s producers did their homework. The only thing that was accomplished was letting the Anthony’s dig a deeper hole for themselves. Dr Phil tried to make it clear that they Anthony’s were not being paid for the interview but failed to mention anything about the network or his show paying for any licensing of pictures used. It really bothered me that a donation to a new foundation would take place. Why didn’t Dr Phil review on air the first foundation created and where the money went? The claim that the Anthony’s will not be officers of the new foundation is a joke. Simple forms can be filled out after funds are donated and George & Cindy could end up being officers of the corporation. I continue to be suspicious because they continue to lie, based on prior interviews and depositions. I would have more respect if ratings would have been mentioned along with the interviewing the Anthony’s. Networks continue to insult the intelligence of the viewers.

Cindy looked great on Dr Phil. I am sorry, she is so in denial. I am sorry for what you all have been through.

It appears Casey is entirely guilty. 31 days and a baby in the woods….what else is there to say, bottom line……who does that?

America Bombshell. so sad, who paid the price, none of u!!!

As I watched the Dr. Phil interview of Cindy and George Anthony, my heart was just breaking for both of them. Each time they spoke of their little granddaughter, Caylee, their pain was so obvious to me. They have suffered as few of us have. Yet, they are working in a positive way to turn their tragic personal milestone into a source of help for others. No family is perfect but neither are they exploited like this family has been.
For those who have left unkind comments, I believe they must be young, immature, uninformed or unable to empathize as they inflict more pain on this couple by making judgements with their thoughtless, caustic opinions. The media especially needs to be included in this group as they knowingly or unknowingly influence many whose mental abilities are weak. Until these people are involved in a painful situation themselves, they can’t understand there are “words that hurt and words that heal.” Please– let’s all try to be more like the traveler who stopped to help the man who was beaten and lay dying by the side of the road instead of the rich men who passed him by showing only contempt for him and his delemma. We have no way of knowing when the tables will turn.
