Reese Witherspoon: New Details on Reese’s Jogging Accident
Poor Reese Witherspoon is having one heck of a week! Yesterday, the mom of two was enjoying a leisurely jog around Santa Monica, when she was hit by a car along the side of the road!
The news of Reese’s jogging accident broke last night, and now there are new details as to what actually happened.
Reese went out for her run at around 11 o’clock in the morning. She started to cross the street, and a car going about 20 miles per hour failed to stop and struck her. The driver of the car was an 84-year old woman, so odds are good that she did not see Reese in the road.
Although Witherspoon was rushed to a local hospital in the area, she only sustained minor injuries, and was released. She has a “quarter-sized gash on her forehead.” Her rep reports that she is “resting comfortably at home.”
Reese must have been so scared to see that car coming at her. I’m sure that her two kids were the first thing on her mind when she got hit, and the whole family must be so relieved that she is ok.
We wish Reese a very speedy recovery!
