Robert Downey Jr's wife Susan Downey pregnant!

Robert Downey Jr.’s wife, Susan Downey is pregnant. This is the first child for RDJ and Susan… congrats!

Star magazine was the first to report that Susan Downey is pregnant, but the couple’s rep confirmed the pregnancy news with People.com: “Robert and Susan could not be more excited over this news. They can’t wait to welcome this new baby into their wonderful family.”

Life couldn’t be better for Robert Downey Jr. – he’s a huge box office success with his role as Iron Man, is a fabulous actor and has had a solid marriage for six years now. RDJ is dad to Indio, now 17, his son with ex-wife Deborah Falconer.

RDJ made the prediction that he’d be having a baby soon when he was promoting his movie Due Date, noting: “I think I will be wrist-deep in doo-doo within 18 months. I’m calling it right here.”

Downey Jr. seemed to be hoping for a girl, saying, “I don’t want Indio to feel there’s another boy in my life. But I don’t know what we’d have to do [to have a girl]. Do we have to put it in a spoon and hang it upside-down?”

Can’t wait to see if it’s a boy or girl!

Is Indio an over-the-top celeb baby name or just right?
