New Reality Show for Former Bachelorette Jen Schefft? No Way!
Former Bachelorette Jen Schefft would not do a reality show with her kids.
“I would never bring my kids into a show,” Jen tells HollyBaby.com. “I’m not saying that people shouldn’t.”
Meaning former Bachelorette Melissa Rycroft who is currently in the works of creating her own series about motherhood?
Schefft wouldn’t go there, for the sake of her daughter.
“I don’t want to bring my daughter into something where everyone knows her. She’s been in a couple of magazines, but she’ll grow up and no one is going to know what she looks like as opposed to when she was a baby,” Schefft said.
“If that’s something that she can’t decide on her own, I don’t think it’s fair to bring her in.”
Schefft, who is an alum of both the Bachelor and Bachelorette, and her husband Joe Waterman welcomed their first child, daughter Mae, in November of last year.
Schefft’s daughter is only nine-months-old but even when she grows up, she still wouldn’t want her to do one!
“I pray that she never wants to do a reality TV show,” Schefft said. “Hopefully I will have raised her right and she will handle herself well. I clearly can’t say no, but we’ll see. Hopefully that won’t happen. Hopefully that will never occur in her life.”
Sounds like Schefft wouldn’t want a repeat of her Bachelorette drama!
