What hurricane? Gwyneth Paltrow

A little hurricane warning isn’t going to stop a Hollywood royal like Gwyneth Paltrow from promoting her book.

The actress was spotted at a bookstore in the East Hamptons on Saturday signing copies of her cookbook, “My Father’s Daughter,” which includes over 150 recipes from her late father, film and television director and producer Bruce Paltrow.

Even though the 38-year-old actress looked ravishingly great, sporting a low-key look that included striped tee, short denim shorts and no make up, many critics slammed the some-time author for defying the hurricane warning in the area and encouraging her fans to leave their homes and attend her book signing.

Her children, Apple and Moses, along with husband Chris Martin did not attend the book signing.  It remains uncertain if they were even in the area with Gwyneth.

What do you think?  Was Gwyneth right in holding a book signing in the middle of a hurricane evacuation?  Should she have stayed home with her kids?

Proceeds of book sales from Saturday will benefit the East Hampton Food Pantry
