Sara Gilbert Returns to The Talk With The Single Mom Perspective

When The Talk returns with new episodes this fall, the talk-fest will have some major changes. Sharon Osbourne is taking a temporary hiatus to spend time with Ozzy and Sara Gilbert will take on the role as resident single gal following the breakup of her ten year relationship.
Sara Gilbert and Allison Adler have decided to call it quits and are doing their best to play nice for the sake of their two children – Levi, 6, and Sawyer, 4.
Her new role as a single mother should play nicely into the talk show that is a bit heavy on married folks. Sara already provided the unique perspective of parenting from a same sex relationship, but having a single mom on the panel will provide a new voice that has been missing from The Talk so far. It should allow for some lively table talk about all the demands of parenting from a single perspective.
