Christina Aguilera covers Max's bruised face

If you wondered what happened to Christina Aguilera’s son’s face when he and mom were photographed yesterday, wonder no more.

TMZ.com is reporting that Christina Aguilera’s son Max’s bruises were not from any physical harm in the home, but rather from a little boy chasing squirrels… and falling down.

Ouch!

Of course, it did look a bit suspicious that Aguilera was trying to hide Max’s face while walking through the airport – she must have known that someone would question the bruises.

Sources tell TMZ that when Max was out with the nanny last week, he tripped over a rock while chasing squirrels.

Hey – it happens!

Max was reportedly taken to the doctor right away and didn’t suffer a broken nose, nor did he need stitches.

A source reports, “Christina is a great mom … Max is her #1 priority.”

Christina Aguilera’s attorney fired off at MediaTakeOut for running a child abuse headline: “Christina is a wonderful mother and was not present in the park when Max fell and hurt himself. To imply that she had something to do with this incident, without any investigation on your part whatsoever, is reckless and unconscionable.”

The blanket didn’t look suspicious at all. You are just feeding into it. It looked like someone trying to protect their family from the reckless & irresponsible media. I hope her lawyers go in for the kill. This defamatory reporting totally crosses the line when it falsely accuses someone of a crime, interferes with their family & damages their reputation. The media have to be held accountable for this sort of false reporting. I’m so sick of seeing it. Whatever happened to confirming a story with two independent credible sources before publishing it? The standard of internet media is absolutely deplorable.
