How Jen Schefft Lost the Baby Weight
Bachelor and Bachelorette alum Jen Schefft gave birth to her first child, daughter Mae, back in November 2010, and now she is already back to her svelte pre-baby shape!
Jen was tiny before getting pregnant, so it’s not a shock that she managed to shed almost all of her baby weight. Schefft is now back to wearing a size 4, but she admits that she had to work hard to get rid of those pesky pregnancy pounds. How did she do it?
Jen credits Bikram yoga for helping her melt away the weight. Bikram yoga is done in a hot room, typically around 105 degrees fahrenheit. The heat in the room helps keep the muscles limber and also helps the body release more toxins.
About a year ago, I was really into hot yoga too, but fell off the wagon after my schedule got more and more hectic. It really is an amazing workout, and seeing how great Jen looks is inspiring me to go back to class!
In addition to yoga, Jen has been watching what she eats, and follows the “everything in moderation” philosophy. Of her post-baby weight loss, Jen says, ”I dropped 25 pounds right away. Those last 15 took a while. And I still have about 5 to go. I want my abs back!”
Jen is proof that baby weight can come off if you are willing to work at it!
