Salma Hayek is happy to be wealthy

Salma Hayek is one celebrity mom who doesn’t shy away from talking about her wealth!

“I never understood the point of being privileged if you don’t get to have the privileges,” the actress tells the September issue of Allure.

The actress is married to billionaire and businessman Francois-Henri Pinault.  They have a daughter, three-year-old Valentina.  And together, they make sure they can offer their daughter all of the riches they are lucky enough to enjoy.

“Like, people who won’t take their kids to an expensive restaurant, or won’t travel with them, or make them pay for everything at a really young age,” she explains.

“I think it’s important that kids have responsibilities and understand the value of things, but I think it’s great I get to travel the world with my daughter.”

It’s fabulous to be blessed with financial stability but should Salma be a bit more humble when talking about her wealth?

I don’t blame her. If you got it, why not? She is fortunate to have her looks. Her child is fortunate to be her child. We may not all have what she has, but we all have opportunities. Instead of complaining about what we don’t have, we should aspire to what we could have.
