As parents, it is extremely important for us to lead healthy lifestyles so that we set a good example for our kids, and to ensure that we are here for them as they grow up. By taking care of ourselves, essentially we are taking care of our children as well.
It’s no secret that celebrity parents lead very hectic lifestyles, and unfortunately, some of them turn to very unhealthy habits as their means of escape. Out of all of the bad habits they adapt, smoking has got to be the absolute worst.
Unfortunately, there are quite a few celebrity parents who smoke. Don’t they realize what a horrible example they are setting for their kids? Parents who smoke are much more likely to have children who smoke as well, so these famous moms and dads should really stop and think about what they are teaching their kids.
If setting a poor example with their smoking habit wasn’t bad enough, some of these parents even go so far as to smoke around their kids, exposing them to many of the same health risks.

Tom commented on Mar 18 12 at 6:25 pmLots of parents smoke, it doesn’t mean their kids are going to pick up the habit. Both my parents smoke, and so do I, but I decided on my own. The truth is I just like it. There are lots worse things to do in front of the kids. I say give everybody a break and let those of us who smoke enjoy it!
