Kate Moss poses with daughter Lila

Kate Moss and daughter Lila Grace pose nude for a photo in the September issue of Vogue magazine.

But is it too much skin?

No doubt, critics will blast Kate Moss for posing nude with her daughter, but I think it’s really quite beautiful. They’re sharing a beautiful mother / daughter embrace and, well, nothing is showing at all.

It’s quite tastefully done and completely not inappropriate.

So, critics say what you will! Kate Moss and her mini-me of a look-alike daughter have a beautiful portrait to capture this moment. Would I want to share the same moment in the pages of a magazine? Probably not, but I’m not a model either.

I only have two questions: first, the photos featured in the spread in Vogue are from Kate Moss’ wedding. At what point was she posing naked with her daughter?

Also? What’s up with Lila’s fingers on mom Kate’s back? A couple of the fingers seem to blend right into mum’s back. Photoshop fail?

See all the Kate Moss wedding pics and weigh in on the photo of Kate and Lila. Love it or hate it?

I thing the picture is lovely. it is a beautiful portrait that can be in a public place. Why does some western cultures have to make a debate with something cute and normal? Maybe they have to open their minds.

a child is FORCED not ASKED to pose nude ,,, and has her NUDE picture taken by an adult, not a family member,,,,THIS IS CHILD PORNOGRAPHY,,,,

BY THE WAY,,,, anyone possessing this COULD BE CHARGED with possession of CHILD PORNOGRAPHY,,,

Leave it to a liberal to support this exploitation

A stranger takes photos of a minor girl naked,,,, and then those photos are sold to other strangers ,,,,

Don’t we consider people who do this the most heinous of our society ?

Very tastefully done. The only thing erotic about this picture is in the perverse mind of some viewers.

Westereners unashamedly DO NOT find this cute, because we do not let children of this age run around naked, be in pictures naked, or embrace others in such a state. I don’t care if it is her mother. I would not consider taking my clothes off, having my daughter take her clothes off, having someone photograph it, because IT IS WEIRD. What is the beauty here? Let me see if I can be artsy-fartsy enough, oh is it the beauty and innocence of the mother and daughter? Yes, I’m sure that pedophiles who get ahold of this will appreciate the innocence, and the time between mother and daugther. I agree with the author’s one question: at what point did Kate Moss have the occassion to be embracing her daughter when they were both stark naked at a wedding? Is the beauty in…I’m sorry, I’m just an ignorant redneck who does not see the beauty in USING a child’s innocence to sell magazines. Call it what you want. You have put a naked child on the front of a magazine. If this was found in some man’s locked safe at his aparment without Kate Moss there and Vogue as the title it would be child porn. Where’s the beauty in that?

Oh! I see a celebrity induces her teen age or tween daughter to take part in a provocative picture and it’s art. But a family takes a roll film in for processing that has pictures of there three years in the bathtub and they get charged with child abuse, poor parenting, or kidde-porn.
I’m getting sick of all the double standards that are allowed for celebrities.
I don’t have any problem with this picture. But by the same token; if we think this is ok we have to stop worrying about some family taking pictures of an infants butt.

…and people in the Western world wonder why our kids are so screwed up? How is this suggestive or lewd in any way? For all you know, Lila could be wearing a low tube top and leggings: do you see anything on her that isn’t normally exposed when wearing a T-shirt?
As for being naked in front of one’s kids when they’re young, what is so horrible about a naked body that we have to hide it away at all costs? Our bodies grow our children, nourish them, and are sources of warmth and comfort when they’re little. When was this so demonized, and what does it say about our culture when it’s A-OK to have images of war, violence, bloodshed, torture and hatred around, but a naked body is something shameful, to be hidden away at all costs?

Disgusting.
(…and for any of you who think I’m just some Liberal, left-wing nut, you’re wrong. Just a person who doesn’t have a vicious knee-jerk reaction to something innocuous and beautiful. You can go back to watching NASCAR now.)

Beauty is Beauty, isn’t it obvious?

Here’s my only take, as a professional model photographer who takes model art all day long:

Did Vogue release the details of this shoot to the public? Like, literally – I want to know what lighting they used, what staging, and HERE’S THE IMPORTANT PART FOR ALL YOU IDIOTS – Did they actually have the two, mother and daughter, NUDE, or was there any one of THOUSANDS of privacy-protecting garments or items worn or used? Simple underwear…leggings….even pasties, as much as I despise them, could have been used in this picture, and none of you complete bloody retards (except Erik, Porchhound, Cate, and Nevar, apparently) would have the SLIGHTEST clue. I don’t come into your office and tell you how to push the buttons on your calculator or how to position your Swingline stapler for maximum desk efficiency…have the good grace to keep your long, twitching, overactive noses out of MY world.
