Angelina Jolie in Doll Form

Imagine you are a kid and you are given a doll – not a Barbie, not a Ken, not a Raggedy Ann or Andy. The doll you are given looks very familiar, eerily so. The doll in your possession looks just like your mom or dad…and it totally creeps you out.

Now most kids won’t be faced with the odd dilemma of getting a toy that is modeled after their parent. But some celebrity kids? Their parents are so popular, so beloved, so famous that tiny toy renderings of them have been created.  Sure, there may be the occasional kid who may want to play dolly with a model of their parent, but most would probably prefer to have a doll that is more fantasy or far more generic.

So what celebrity kids are faced with this issue? Check out these 17 celebrity parents who also exist in doll form!

Most of these were surprisingly accurate and beautiful (MOST, Angelina Jolie’s doll looks EXACTLY like Octomom Nadia Suelman, LOL)

To be honest I’m actually impressed with a few of these, they try to make dolls and toys after real people and they never look like them some of these really do.

Angelina and Celine’s dolls were spot on. How are some so good and some just awful? Oh, and confession: I owned that Marie Osmond doll back in the day, along with the Donny counterpart. LMAO

Wow some of these actually look really good while others should be killed with fire!

I had a Cher doll. Do any of you remember that one? She had extra long eyelashes. I couldn’t resist the urge to cut them so I did and then stopped half-way through. She had one full set of eyelashes and one half cut set! I totally regretted it for the rest of my childhood. Why did they make her eyelashes so long and cut-able??? Man, she had some glittery jumpsuits and platform shoes too.

Some of these dolls were never mass produced they are called OOAK which is one of a kind work of art. Regular dolls (Barbie, Obitsu, Bratz) that have been stripped of hair and makeup and repainted, rerooted and dressed to look like celebs which is the hot thing now. Sure you can buy a Katy Perry or Lady GaGa doll or someone with mad skill can take a scene from one of the music videos and recreate it for you. They are not cheap to buy they take a few months to make and will cost you a pretty penny but it is so fun to do and you will have a collectors item. Look for OOAK Dolls on ebay for more celeb inspired dolls. The next one you buy could be from me..

I think some of the OOAK doll photos here may be stolen… I’ve seen some of them in a DeviantArt gallery.
