Adrian Peterson Welcomes Son
The football season is getting kicked off with the pitter patter of baby feet for the Minnesota Vikings. Rather than put on his helmet to hit the practice fields with the rest of the team, Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been busy on diaper duty following the birth of his son earlier this week.
The record setter showed up at the team’s training camp earlier this week only to turn around and head back home when his fiance went into labor. Peterson confirmed the news of the baby’s arrival last night tweeting, “I just want to thank all of my fans for the tweets about the birth of my son.”
Now the baby is here and it back to business for Peterson. The star headed back to training camp and was expected to hit the field for the first time today.
