Shannon Tweed and Gene Simmons are finally getting married! Or are they?
The Kiss star finally proposed to his longtime girlfriend and mother of his children, Shannon Tweed and it’s all going to unravel tonight on television.
The long-awaiting proposal will be seen in Tuesday night’s finale of A&E’s reality show Gene Simmons Family Jewels.
Simmons, 61, and Tweed, 54, were in Belize on vacation, “you’re the only friend I’ve got. You’re the only one I love … and you’re the only one I ever will love,” before getting down on one knee.
On Monday, Tweed Tweeted that the proposal was “the most shocking moment” of her life.
The proposal was taped “several months ago.” But sadly, since the proposal, things between the couple have reportedly been rocky.
Will they actually be married after being together for so long and having children together? The couple, who once described themselves as happily unmarried, have been together for 28 years and have two adult children Nick, 22, and Sophie, 18.
Tweed recently told People that she had moved out of their home and that there was a “slim chance” of them getting back together.
Last month, during a promotional tour, Tweed slammed Simmons for his past infidelities and said their relationship had “pretty much unraveled.”
Will Shannon say YES? We’ll have to wait until the new season to find out what happens!
The proposal airs on Gene Simmons Family Jewels tonight at 10pm on A&E.

The night that Gene asked her to marry him, I was in tears.. then it said to be continued. Shannon if you get to read this, which you probably won’t… Say YES!!!!! 28 years is a long time and you all are a great couple. He truely loves you and a true love only comes once in a persons life. If things are rocky – stope step back and take a bteath, yall are made for each other!!!!!!!!!!!!

joyce green commented on Jul 28 11 at 7:41 amshannon, i’m sorry to say, but you won’t be happy without him, even though you are still SO BEAUTIFUL , he has your heart…if you leave him he will try to screw himself to happiness, but it will NEVER HAPPEN he does love you soooo much, and he is right, he’s NOTHING without you. i have never liked his music but i liked him a lot because i thought he was so smart and caring, and a wonderful mate to you and a great dad to his kids, since the series i see now YOU were the one that made EVERYTHING work, and now everyone knows it along with your children….GOOD LUCK !!!
dee commented on Jul 29 11 at 10:10 amShannon you have to marry him! 28 years is such a long time with one person, its like he was meant for you and vise versa .forgive and move on. Life is to short. Both of you are a beautiful couple, I never miss and episode even the reruns i watch.
