Pink Back on a Motorcycle After Having Baby Willow: Is She Being Irresponsible? (Photo)
Pink and her husband Carey Hart seem to have adjusted to parenthood quite nicely. After welcoming baby girl Willow Sage on June 2nd, 2011, they are settling into their new life together as mom and dad.
Pink definitely has not let having an infant slow down her sense of adventure. As you can see from this photo, she’s already back on her motorcycle, and enjoyed a day of riding with Carey. Willow Sage isn’t quite two months old. Is Pink being a bit irresponsible by getting back on her bike so shortly after Willow’s birth?
I guess there are truly two sides to this argument. On one hand, I think that once you become a parent, there are certain risks that you just shouldn’t take anymore, including anything that may injure you or take you away from your child. While something happening to my son is my absolute worst fear, I also worry just as much about something happening to me. I can’t imagine what his life would be like if he had to go on without his mother. Personally, I would never get on a motorcycle, but that’s only my opinion.
The other side of this argument is that Pink is wearing her helmet, so she is taking the proper safety precautions while riding the motorcycle. I’m sure she wasn’t riding super fast or anything like that, and had Willow in mind when she got on the bike. One can also argue that you shouldn’t let your kids totally alter your lifestyle, and that she deserves a little bit of fun time after taking care of a newborn.
What is your take on the issue? Is Pink riding her bike no big deal? Or is she taking too big of a risk?
