Casey Anthony Released: People Already Buying Casey Anthony Halloween Costumes
Casey Anthony's pink shirt is a hot Halloween item.
Just when we thought that the Casey Anthony case couldn’t get any more sickening than it already is, Macy’s stores are reporting that the pink ruffled Ralph Lauren blouse that Casey wore when the verdict was read is flying off store shelves. That’s right…people are buying the blouse identical to Casey Anthony’s because they want to dress up like her on Halloween.
Seriously?
As if Casey Anthony being released from jail wasn’t bad enough…now we are going to have to deal with thousands of Casey Anthony look alikes running amongst our children during Trick or Treat. What is wrong with people?
A Macy’s employee in California said, ”I guess people saw what Casey was wearing on television, and they immediately started coming into our store to buy that same pink shirt saying they wanted it as their Halloween costume. We’ve ordered a bunch more in other locations, and every time we get more, it gets sold within hours.”
Casey Anthony has already gotten way more attention than she deserves. From people sympathizing with her and sending her money in jail, to the millions of dollars she will likely make after selling her side of the story to the press, Casey is proving that she’s anything but a victim in this case.
Anyone who chooses to dress up as Casey Anthony for Halloween should think long and hard about that beautiful little girl who lost her life instead of being concerned with having a few laughs on October 31st.
